Learn to knit the Purl Soho Arched Gusset Mittens using Plötulopi. This unspun pencil roving from Iceland makes for extremely versatile, economical, lightweight, warm, and fun garments. You will learn the basics of mitten shaping and how to get them to fit like a glove. The Arched Gusset Mitten pattern is so quick and fun to knit, you won’t be able to stop with just one pair!
Skills needed to participate: Ability to cast- on and knit.
Materials needed:
- 1 cake of Plötulopi
- Size 4 Double Point Needles* or size to get gauge (22 st/inch)
- Stitch markers
- Pattern- Free download from Purl Soho
*Feel free to use a 9” or 12” circular if they are comfortable for you.
You will also need double points for thumb and top of mitten.
