Sock Support Group
Wednesdays in October
6-7:30pm
10 spots - in person
$80
Registration opens Wednesday, September 18th at 7pm. Class will appear sold out until then.
Sometimes all it takes is a little camaraderie to make something feel more fun and doable! Join us Wednesdays in October to knit up a pair of socks. Socks are a great way to gain experience with different techniques, try out new color combinations, and use up scrap yarn. They might just be your new obsession!
If you are a beginner sock knitter and want to take advantage of instruction and learning opportunities in the group, we recommend Summer Lee’s Thicksgiving Socks. We like this top / cuff down pattern because the thicker yarn makes them fly off the needles and the pattern includes several variations to choose from!
We’ll meet weekly to work through the process, share tips and tricks, provide structure and motivation, and troubleshoot as questions arrise.
If you are already an experienced sock knitter and joining more for the community and structure, feel free to knit any pattern you like with any weight yarn you want.
Hosted by Kaitlin and Dorothy

About the Thicksgiving socks:
“Thickgiving socks are a celebration of winter, of cozy twilights by the fire, the smell of woodsmoke in the air, hot drinks steaming beside an open book resting on the bedside table. There are three different variations of socks to knit, including vanilla, ribbed, and cabled. Each variation has its own sizing and gauge information. I hope you enjoy knitting them as much as I did, and perhaps gifting a few pairs to loved ones (or keeping all that squishy goodness for your own cold feet!)” - Summer Lee, Pattern designer.
