Léttlopi is a loosely twisted aran weight yarn that is great for color work. Ístex buys directly from farmers and processes about 99% of all Icelandic wool. This yarn is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Traditionally used to make "Lopapeysa" or Icelandic sweaters with colorful yokes, léttlopi makes quality durable garments for indoor and outdoor wear. Fabulous for felting, too. So basically a yarn perfect for the North Shore!
